Antique rigid gold bracelet with pearls and an enamel-painted porcelain miniature - FROV Manufacture, late 19th Century
Type: Antique hinged rigid bracelet with a side hinge.
Manufacture / Origin: Italy
stamped FROV (Fabbriche Riunite Oreficerie Vicentine) on the back of the central setting.
Era: Late 19th Century / Early 20th Century (full Victorian Era / Renaissance Revival style)
Materials: Yellow/rose gold, natural pearls (baroque)
hand-painted polychrome enamel on a porcelain plaque
small cabochon-cut emerald at the base.
Aesthetic Details: The front features a refined circular medallion depicting in profile a noblewoman with Renaissance-era hairstyle and dress. The mounting is enriched with openwork geometric-scroll patterns and foliate decorations, adorned with pearls arranged in a clover shape and along the side curls. Back structure with a double smooth band.
Excellent condition for its age, consistent with the object's era. Enamel intact with no evident cracking, contemporaneous pearls well secured, clasp and hinge perfectly functioning.
