Mara. J XL - Emerald Thicket

From the dense green at the base, the vegetation rises and lightens into a cloud of ivory-colored and pale yellow leaves that occupies the entire upper part of the canvas. Leaf impressions overlap in very light layers, creating a fine weave that seems to vibrate with every change of light. A few leaves in bright green emerge among the light mass like an abrupt note, while slender violet stems rise vertically across the field. The light grows from bottom to top, gradually dissolving the shapes until they become almost intangible. It is the image of a forest understory in full bloom, suspended in a clear, airy morning.
