The Vachetta leather trim has aged gorgeous.The triangular corner tab is crafted from natural, untreated cowhide (Vachetta) leather. Over time, exposure to light, oils, and air oxidizes the material, creating the deep amber-brown patina visible here. The strap anchors one stiff,the other presents minor wear do to vintage age.other then that are completely secure.
