Description from the seller
An elegant ensemble of three stately vintage coffee and teapots in silvered metal, executed in a neoclassical Empire Revival style with Regency and Louis XVI influences.
The pots have high-profiled feet, long graceful spouts, richly decorated relief rims and elegant handles. One specimen is particularly characterized by a bird-shaped lid crown.
The set has a pronounced classical home decor character and comes beautifully into its own on a sideboard, mantel, sidetable or in a display cabinet, but also in a stylish classical kitchen.
Origin: probably continental Europe.
Period: circa 1960–1980.
Material: silvered metal.
Quantity: 3.
Height: circa 30–35 cm.
Weights: 664 g, 495 g and 435 g.
The outer sides still have a nice shine. The lovely patina on the inside speaks to the age and the authentic vintage character. Normal signs of use and aging present. No clear silver marks detected.
