Charles Dickens' Christmas Books, first edition thus, circa 1890, published by Chapman & Hall, in half-leather over marbled boards, 256 pages, illustrated by John Leech with eight tipped-in plates, in Good condition.

This is a First Edition Thus copy, of Charles Dickens' classic; "Christmas Books". The title was first published in 1852 and this, half-leather over marbled boards copy, dates from around 1890. The book incorporates Dickens' five most famous Christmas stories, in one edition and features John Leech's classic illustrations from A Christmas Carol. This this copy remains in Good condition and it displays beautifully. It would make a great addition to any private library or collection.
