Vincenzo Laricchia was born in Naples in 1940. From the age of 15, visiting galleries and museums, he began to understand the grandeur of those works painted on canvases by the masters of the time, gaining day by day what they wished to express to the whole world in the only language or dialect known: painting, perhaps the most primitive source of human expression. Thus Vincenzo Laricchia emerges as an impetuous impressionist who manages to convey through his own language that Neapolitan painting whose greatest inspirations were Giacinto Gigante, Vincenzo Migliaro, Vincenzo Irolli, Attilio Pratella, and Giuseppe Casciaro.
