Love N Money II – PVettese – Original work – 60 × 51 cm

Love N Money II is an original work by the French artist PVettese, created in mixed media on canvas, measuring 60 × 51 cm.

At the center of the composition, Mr Monopoly sits inside a towering coupe of Dom Pérignon champagne, while a rain of green banknotes sweeps across the scene. This pop iconography, instantly recognizable, contrasts with a rougher background made up of graffiti, drips, splatters, overlays and textures—features of the artist’s visual language.

The palette mainly blends shades of green, turquoise, black, white and gold. The banknotes seem to float around the figure and participate in the overall movement of the composition. The encounter between references to popular culture, the luxury world and street art energy gives the work a strong graphic presence.

Technique and peculiarities of the work:
The work is entirely handmade using a mixed technique involving different layers, materials, projections and overlays. Therefore the surface may intentionally show irregularities, roughness, reliefs, texture variations or small marks related to the creation process. These peculiarities are an integral part of the artist’s technique and aesthetics. They do not constitute defects of the work, nor any damage related to transport.
