Sugihara Ichigo - Incense burner - Lion‑knob Tripod Censer - Ceramic - Openwork White Porcelain

This piece is a white porcelain openwork three-legged incense burner made by the famous Japanese craftsman Sugihara Ichigo. The whole body of the vessel is made of warm white porcelain. The upper edge of the vessel and the furnace lid are made of open-carved hollow techniques with ancient coin patterns on large areas. The carving is delicate and neat, and the hollow holes are even and regular. When burning incense, the smoke can slowly escape from the hollow patterns. The three-dimensional sculpture of a Swiss lion dog on the top of the furnace lid serves as a picking button; the furnace body is round and full in spherical shape, with three animal-shaped feet at the bottom to firmly hold up the furnace body, and the overall shape of the furnace is coordinated and full. The inside of the furnace lid has the author's signature "Ichigo" in blue and white, and comes with an original handwritten wooden gift box.
The overall state of preservation is good, the glaze is smooth and smooth, the white porcelain glaze is clean and transparent, the utensils have no bumps or cracks, and the interior is clean with no obvious incense ash residue.
