Elegant low coffee table or nightstand (side table / smoking table) made entirely of solid Pinus cembra (cembra pine), a high-altitude conifer typical of the Alpine arc, particularly sought after for its softness in carving and its aromatic properties. The piece is a classic example of rustic craftsmanship from the Tyrolean/alpine area, characterized by two sturdy lyre-shaped legs with geometric and scroll carvings. The bases are firmly joined by a central lobed crossmember, secured according to traditional cabinetmaking practice with a through mortise and removable wooden wedges (keys).

The table is currently in a raw/stripped finish (decapé), an ideal condition that highlights the distinctive grain of cembra pine, its typical knots, and the natural pale-pink color. Not being treated with chemical varnishes, the wood retains its porosity and its characteristic natural aroma.

A perfect accent piece for mountain chalets, rustic-chic-styled interiors, or to create a tactile contrast in minimalist and modern environments.

Conditions: Structurally solid and stable. The surface is clean and stripped of finish; it shows natural signs of time, light wear from use, and antique patinas on the footrest crosspiece that attest to its history and authenticity. Ready to be displayed natural or finished with wax.
