Condition:
Inside fresh and clean with no previous owner marks and with no foxing; first and last pages with very light crease, stronger taped at the bottom left corner of the rear side of the front cover, no other remarkable flaws or defects. Outside stronger used with divers creases (stronger at the bottom right corner of the front and at the bottom left corner of the rear side), with (the usual) rubbing and with neat defects at the spine. Overall good condition only.

This Dover editions, first published in 1973, is an unabridged republication of the work originally published by E. P. Dutton and Company, New York, in 1939, under the title "Changing New York". The original text is unaltered, except for the correction of typographical errors.
