A typical painting for Anton Pieck's niece and Gretha Pieck's sister. One early morning reveals a beautiful palette of colors in the trees of Maartensdijk. The painting is signed bottom left by the artist. 
Similar paintings are also depicted in Jan Juffermans' book about Adri and Gretha Pieck. The book is included with the painting.
The painting has been in the family for 60 years (the parents and) the current owner of the painting.
