Description from the seller

Lane-less: a series inspired by the language of comics. I work with flat colors, simplified figures and scenes that seem to promise a story… but don’t quite tell it.

I’m interested in the almost exaggerated clarity of the image, that pop aesthetic that shows everything straight on and, yet, leaves floating questions. There is no intention to change the world. Nor a moral. Only the pleasure of the direct image, of the graphic gesture, and of characters that exist without a designated lane.

TECHNICAL DATA:
- Acrylic on canvas.
- The canvas is prepared to stretch on a 100x100 cm frame and measures approximately 5 cm more on each side.
- Shipped rolled to minimize damage and reduce shipping costs
- Original, unique painting.
- Signed and dated by the artist behind the canvas.
- Certificate of authenticity included.
- Shipped unframed and unstretched.
- Gallery photos are montages to give an idea of how the painting could look framed and hung in different environments.
- Colors on screen may vary slightly from the actual colors of the painting.
- The canvas may show waviness and craquelure inherent to the different material load. It is recommended to take it to a specialist to tension it well on a frame.

Seller's Story

I was born in 1982 in Argentina where I worked as a graphic designer for more than 15 years. In 2016 I moved to Barcelona for love, but the feeling of uprooting led me to enroll in swimming classes, where I began to feel more connected to myself. I returned to painting, my true passion, and turned it into my profession, exploring the human figure as a vehicle for emotions and the different moods I have experienced. I have presented my work in solo exhibitions in Madrid and Barcelona, and have participated in several group exhibitions at the Esther Montoriol, Jordi Barnadas and Sara Caso galleries, as well as in the Art For Life project (Chicago, USA). My works are also part of numerous private collections in America, Europe and Australia.
