Magnificent Mid-Century Bombé Ring (21g) with 56 rubies (ca. 0.5 carat) and 142 diamonds (ca. 0.7 carat) – 18K yellow gold, Unique piece
Description:
For sale is a spectacular, heavy Bombé-domed ring from the mid-century era (c. 1950s–1960s). It is a highly valuable, handmade unique piece, which due to its characteristic construction very likely comes from a high-class Italian master workshop.

Heavy construction of approx. 21.3 grams.
Measurements:
Large, striking domed form with a diameter of approx. 3.2 cm.
Setting:
Opulently set with 56 brilliant rubies and 142 sparkling diamonds in brilliant cut. All gemstones are hand-set in fine, classic prong settings.
Special feature:
The inside of the ring shows masterful, pierced inner work (ajouré) with extremely elaborate filigree. The artistic geometric-floral motif presents diamonds with four-leaf blossoms.
A museum-worthy and wearable collectible of postwar jewelry art in excellent condition.
