According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais’s price range in 2021 was roughly €600–€2,000 for his paintings and multiple prints, making him a relatively affordable artist for art collectors.
A compulsive and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism in the vein of Rauschenberg or de Kooning, to matter projections à la Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage, or to the expressionism of Karel Appel, all traversing the borders between abstract gesture and figurative representation. But his signature remains this physical painting, the material worked with the body, a testament to the artist’s intimate monologue. An artist represented by Galerie Les Couleurs de l'Éternité in France, and Gallery Modern Dutch in the Netherlands. On Artprice, Drouot and Akoun since 2005. Maeght Studio in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon. Recent exhibitions in Chisinau (Moldova), Cannes, Pézenas and Lyon (Paul Bocuse Abbey) gala evening 2023. Paris, private collection gallery Île Saint-Louis since 2016. Exhibits in international galleries Belgium, USA, Italy and Portugal since 2019.
