Cyril Keller - Retrospektiv

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art.
From around 1993 until the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion.
During this time, my enthusiasm for color, form and creative expression developed — the foundation of my painting today.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, and it still inspires me today.
Since then I have dedicated myself with great passion to abstract painting and continually experiment with new techniques, color compositions, and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique shapes and textures created by the squeegee technique. Each painting is a new journey of discovery for me, where intuition, creativity and a spirit of experimentation come together.
As a self-taught artist I love to continually develop and discover new ways to bring emotion and dynamism to the canvas.

Today I deliberately take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm.
My goal is to create works that move people, spark their imagination, and bring them lasting joy.

The most beautiful thing about abstract art, to me, is its openness.
Each viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences into a work and lets it resonate in a completely individual way.
It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
