Description from the seller
Series Harmony, 2005
Work 35 × 35 cm on white sheet 39 × 39 cm (white border 2 cm on each side)
Exhibition: Castello Estense, Ferrara, 2006
Created in 2005, this etching belongs to the Harmony series, a cycle of ten works presented in the same year at Castello Estense in Ferrara. The series investigates the possibility of building a visual balance through the relationship between geometry, color and movement, transforming the surface into a field of controlled forces.
The series, exhibited in 2006 at Castello Estense in Ferrara, fits perfectly into the climate of those years, when the hybridization between traditional and digital techniques began to be recognized as an autonomous language and not as mere experimentation.
Within the series, this work represents one of the clearest syntheses of the concept of “harmony”: not as staticity, but as a dynamic agreement among different elements that find a point of balance in their interaction.
The 2006 exhibition at Castello Estense highlighted the maturity of the artist's research, capable of articulating a personal abstract language in which geometry opens to fluidity and color becomes emotional structure.
