According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais’ appraisal in 2021 ranges roughly from 600 to 2,000 euros for his paintings and limited-edition prints, making him a relatively affordable artist for art collectors.
A compulsive and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, from abstract expressionism to Rauchenberg or De Kooning, to matter projections à la Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage or to the expressionism of Karel Appel, straddling the border between gestural abstraction and figurative representation. But his mark remains this physical painting, this material worked with the body, a testament to the artist’s intimate monologue. An artist represented by Galerie Les Couleurs de l'Éternité in France, Galerie Modern Dutch in the Netherlands. Listed by Artprice, Drouot and Akoun since 2005. Atelier Maeght in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon. Recent exhibitions in Chisinau (Moldova), Cannes, Pézenas and Lyon (Paul Bocuse Abbey) gala evening 2023. Paris private collection, Île Saint-Louis gallery since 2016. Exhibits in international galleries in Belgium, USA, Italy and Portugal since 2019.
