Description from the seller
My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in the Saarland region of Germany.
My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 to the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my greatest passion. During this time, my enthusiasm for colors, shapes, and creative expression—laying the foundation for my current painting—developed.
In 2015 I found my path into abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, one that still fascinates me today. Since then I have pursued abstract painting with great passion and continuously experiment with new techniques, color compositions, and image structures.
I am especially fascinated by the unique forms and structures that arise from the squeegee technique. Each painting is, for me, a new journey of discovery where intuition, creativity, and a willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist, I love continually evolving and finding new ways to bring emotions and dynamism to the canvas.
Today, I deliberately take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, spark their imagination, and provide lasting joy.
For me, the most beautiful thing about abstract art is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, bringing their personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences into a painting, thus letting it affect them in a uniquely individual way. It is this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
The canvas is unstretched and shipped rolled in a mailing tube. The certificate of authenticity is included.
