Cyril Keller - Feuerdrache

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 until the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time my enthusiasm for colors, shapes and creative expression developed—the foundation of my current painting.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, which still excites me today. Since then I have been dedicating myself with great passion to abstract painting and continuously experimenting with new techniques, color compositions and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique shapes and structures created by the roller technique. Each painting is a new discovery for me, where intuition, creativity and willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist I love to continually develop myself and find new possibilities to convey emotions and dynamism onto the canvas.

Today I deliberately take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, stimulate their imagination and bring them lasting joy.

The most wonderful thing about abstract art for me is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences into a painting and lets it affect them in a completely individual way. It is this very connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
