Cyril Keller - Zwischen Den Jahreszeiten

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From about 1993 until the end of the 1990s graffiti was my great passion. In this time my enthusiasm for colors, shapes and creative expression developed – the foundation of my painting today.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, which excites me to this day. Since then I have been dedicating myself with great passion to abstract painting and continuously experimenting with new techniques, color compositions and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique forms and structures that arise through the squeegee technique. Each painting is a new journey of discovery for me, where intuition, creativity and experimentation come together. As a self-taught artist I love to continually develop and find new ways to bring emotions and dynamism to the canvas.

Today I deliberately take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, stimulate their imagination and give them long-lasting joy.

The most beautiful thing about abstract art for me is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences into a painting and thus lets it resonate in a uniquely individual way. It is this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
