My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in the Saarland.
My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From about 1993 to the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time, my enthusiasm for colors, shapes and creative expression - the foundation of my current painting - developed.
In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, which still excites me today. Since then I have been passionately dedicated to abstract painting and continuously experiment with new techniques, color compositions and image structures.
What fascinates me especially are the unique shapes and structures that arise from squeegee techniques. Each image is a new expedition for me, where intuition, creativity and willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist I love continually developing and finding new ways to bring emotions and dynamism onto the canvas.
Today I consciously take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with great enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, stimulate their imagination and bring them lasting joy.
The most beautiful thing about abstract art for me is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences into a painting and lets it work in a completely individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
