I bought this cloth in the 1990s in Sumba for my collection. I don’t know what this ceremonial cloth was used for. It is woven from two identical panels in the Ikat technique, and at both ends it has another panel each, with the same coloring and patterns. No shipping to the USA.

Wofür dieses Zeremonial Tuch benutzt wurde ist mir nicht bekannt , es ist aus 2 gleichen Bahnen in Ikat technik gewebt und hat an den beiden Enden nochmals jeweils eine weitere Bahn.mit der gleichen Farbigkeit und Mustern.
