M. Burgaz, Tea Time, an original 2025 acrylic and mixed-media still life on canvas, 24×77 cm, signed, from Spain, in the impressionist style; certificate of authenticity included.

AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

The canvas that has supported this painting from the start guided this work. A moment as classic, as mythical as tea, and worthy of all the paraphernalia that surrounds it. Created with acrylic paint, it offers different textures and sensations. In some areas, when very diluted it seems like watercolor, and in others, more impasto, it seems like oil. A still life arranged in the manner of old masters, and above all thinking of Zurbarán.

The delivery of this painting may be delayed a little as it is in the vacation studio.

María Burgaz (born 1970) knew from a very young age that her thing was art. She began her training at the School of Decorative Arts in Madrid, and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting at the Complutense University of Madrid in 1993. Later she completed her studies at FIT in New York.

Winner of competitions such as the Wellington Foundation, Professional Football Foundation, Woman and Society, Iberdrola-UEX, UNED, Eugenio Hermoso, Gran Casino de Torrelodones… her work, in addition to being part of the collections of these institutions, also features in those of municipalities such as Gibraleón, Valdemoro, Martos, Horche, Diputación de Alicante…

She has carried out dozens of solo and group exhibitions both in Spain and abroad, and her work is also found in numerous private collections worldwide.

Her hardworking and enthusiastic spirit has led her to participate in all kinds of projects and to collaborate with designers, writers and everything that allows her to express all that she carries inside. Her work always reveals the stage she is living, her vitality and her particular sense of humor and way of understanding life, always with a mastery of techniques that she combines and juxtaposes to create unique canvases of great narrative and technical richness.

Her works always include a certificate of authenticity and when they are works on canvas they are shipped rolled in a rigid tube for greater security.
