Sylvie Overheul - Northern Sea

Sylvie Overheul belongs to the top of Dutch portrait painters. In addition to portraits of people and animals, she also enjoys painting seascapes. Her paintings are typically magical realism, as seen in this painting through a subtle displacement in light and color.

Sylvie was a semi-finalist for the honorable ‘Artist of the Year’ competition of 2026 with her oeuvre. Her name is listed at number 15 in the top 100 of the Gallery of Contemporary Artists. She has also appeared on Dutch television as a master painter.

She studied at the Art Academy in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Sylvie has painted ‘Northern Sea’ with oil on canvas. The canvas measures 30 x 40 cm.
