Titled: "Sonic Mountain quest" or "Sonic: The Mountain Quest"
Copyright indicated: 1990-91
Manufacture date: 1992
Manufacturer: the Japanese TOMY under SEGA license
Made in Thailand.
Manufacturer reference: 7053
Note: Mould date on the game 1982
Functional: Game tested, works perfectly.
Runs on an LR20 battery (provided)
Electrical contacts perfect and non-corroded
Very good condition.
Complete (except for the balloon points label: 70)
Provided with two metal balls and an LR20 battery.
Dimensions of the game:
- Height: 36 cm (49 cm including the 100-point label)
- Width: 22 cm
- Depth: 11 cm
Provided in its original box in good condition: 37 x 23 x 10 cm
Note: To stop the game correctly: Turn the END ZONE knob a little to the left between "Stop" and "Auto".
Game description:
- Objective: Roll an steel ball (representing Sonic) up to the summit of a steep mountain to defeat Dr. Robotnik.
- Mechanisms: The vertical track uses an electric motor, magnets and user-operated levers by pressing a button at the bottom of the structure (PUSH).
- Obstacles: The player must demonstrate dexterity to pass, for example: Crossing a swaying bridge (10 points), passing a magnetic arm (50 points), releasing the vertical elevator at the right moment (70 points)... etc... without dropping the ball!
- Reward: Reach the summit after a magnetic path triggers a Sonic banner and yields the maximum score of 100 points.
Instructions in: English, French, Español, Deutsch and Dutch
You will become "addicted", this game is far from easy! Lots of memories....
