Description from the seller
Title: The Last Drop
The Last Drop confronts the beauty and vitality of the human body with an environment marked by the absence of water.
At the center of the composition, a powerful and luminescent male figure stands out on land deeply dried. The ground, cracked by drought, becomes almost an abstract matter: its natural fractures mingle with the blue and gold pictorial interventions that frame the figure.
Blue evokes water that has become rare, almost a memory, while gold brings light and preciousness to this arid environment.
The work intentionally plays on a striking contrast: a body full of life against a land that is lacking it. It can thus be contemplated for its aesthetic dimension, but also as an evocation of the fragility of water and the upheavals of our environment.
A contemporary creation where realism, academic aesthetics, and modern abstraction meet in an intense and luminous composition.
Delivered with certificate of authenticity.
The edition offered here is an art print from a strictly limited edition of 30 copies in this format 40x50 cm. It bears the number 1/30.
High-quality fine art print on Hahnemühle Baryta paper
