Bedside table lamp - Porcelain

Elegant Italian vintage table lamp adorned with a figurative group in white biscuit porcelain finely molded, in the Capodimonte / Neapolitan style.

The composition depicts a young man playing a wind instrument beside an elegant young woman holding a tambourine, accompanied by a small lamb. The figures are delicately sculpted, with very fine work on the faces, hands, clothing and the animal.

The porcelain group rests on a richly decorated gilded metal base, with ornamental feet and Rococo-style details.

The underside bears the blue hallmark representing a crown above the letter “N,” traditionally associated with Neapolitan porcelain production / Capodimonte style.

The lamp is very likely of Italian manufacture and can be dated approximately to the 1950s–1970s, probably the 1960s.

The old-style fabric lampshade is included. Once lit, the lamp emits a warm and elegant light, with a very beautiful decorative effect.
