Beautiful and particularly decorative set of two authentic Belgian Art Deco glass objects, presumably dating from the 1930s.
The set consists of:
An elegant amber-colored vase from Val Saint Lambert, with a distinct geometric design, flaring top edge and polygonal base. The vase is clearly marked on the bottom side “VSL BELGIQUE”.
A fine smoke/olive-colored bowl on a foot, richly decorated with geometric star- and facet motifs and a gracefully fluted edge. On the underside marked “BELGE”.
Together, both pieces form a very beautiful and harmonious whole and are wonderful examples of Belgian Art Deco glass from the interwar period.
