THE WORK
A woman walks slowly along a rain-soaked pier, a vintage suitcase in her hand. In front of her, a lighthouse cuts through the fog with its light as a silhouette slowly moves away toward the horizon, almost swallowed by the mist. Between a cloudy sky, damp wood, and a silent sea, everything seems suspended in a final moment where words no longer have their place.
The composition plays on the balance between loneliness and hope. Each reflection, each nuance of light accompanies this fragile moment where the past gradually fades, making room for the unknown. The lighthouse becomes more than a simple landmark: it embodies the promise that a direction still exists, even when everything seems to disappear.
“Last Goodbye” is a work about separations, memories we carry with us, and the courage to move forward despite absence. A scene deeply cinematic that invites each viewer to project their own story onto it.

THE ARTIST’S STATEMENT
“The goodbyes do not always mark an end. Sometimes they are simply the first step toward a new light.”
