Description from the seller

Roberti Lancellotti Perusini, Jurisconsult famous – Tractatus de Attentatis et Innovatis, Lite et Appellatione Pendente

Sixth revised and enlarged edition, published in Cologne (Colonia Agrippinae) in 1725 by Wilhelm & Franciscus Metternich.

A legal work over 300 years old by the Italian jurist Roberto Lancellotti (Robertus Lancellottus), dealing with legal actions and changes during ongoing trials and professional procedures.

Beautiful title page, printed in red and black, with the publishers’ vignette.

The book is still in an old leather binding with raised ribs on the spine, blind-stamped decorations and an old title plate. The binding shows clear signs of use and aging. The leather is locally heavily worn and on one of the boards a larger portion of the surface layer is missing. Also at the head and tail of the spine there are damages. See the photos, which are part of the description.

The interior is, given its age, well preserved. The paper shows normal discoloration, spots and signs of wear appropriate for a book from the early 18th century. The text is legible.

The copy is complete, including the title page, main text and concluding index (40 double pages). The work ends with “INDEX – FINIS”.
