Description

Rubywood is an expressive work from the Birch Reflections series and presents a birch forest in an extraordinary color world full of light, depth and atmosphere.

Between the bright birch trunks, an intense background glows in ruby, purple and carmine red tones. The warm light seems to radiate from the forest’s interior and lends the landscape an almost dreamlike presence. Golden leaves float between the trunks, providing luminous accents that, with the red color harmony, form a harmonious and at the same time powerful unity.

The composition moves between natural representation and abstract interpretation. The characteristic birches stand out clearly, while light, color and atmosphere constitute the artwork’s actual focus. Depending on the viewing angle and light incidence, the red and golden color layers reveal new nuances and give the painting a lively radiance.

The painting is well suited for modern living spaces, elegant reception areas or stylish interiors where warm colors, light and a strong atmosphere are valued.

About the artist

Alla Faber lives and works in Hamburg. For several years she has dedicated herself to abstract and contemporary painting and creates large-format works that balance between calm and movement, structure and lightness.

Her preferred materials are acrylic paints, texture gels and metal foils – combined in refined, often multi-layered compositions. Through delicate transitions, harmonious color gradients and light reflections, the pieces arise that do not dominate the space but fill it with quiet presence.

Her artistic work follows the concept “So klingt die Stille” – a painterly exploration of the moment between sound and silence. In this silence there is no emptiness for Faber, but a vibrant force: the breathing of light, the whisper of colors, the gentle pulsation of the space.

Her works have already been shown in several exhibitions in Hamburg and today are in private collections in Europe, the USA and the United Arab Emirates.
