Description from the seller
GOING EAST OVER A BLOOD MOON
Original and round work, part of a series called COSMOLOGIA PESCINA, in which my red fish float over different planets, crossing the aquatic boundaries of a cosmos in constant evolution. In this piece they float light and weightless over a “blood moon.” The fish, as an archetypal universal element, as a nexus between the different worlds, as an expression of the flow of life and of emotions. Fast and fleeting like clouds and thoughts, they sometimes lose concreteness and suggest abstraction, embodying the delicate balance between serenity and vital impulse.
The water that contains them is an amniotic space in continual movement.
I am interested in the boundary between the real world and the surreal world of my ever-transforming aquatic landscapes.

ABOUT ME
Born in Italy, on the island of Sardinia, in 1963, after stays in New York to study graphic design and later in Milan, I moved to Barcelona in 1991 to work as a graphic designer, and here I began my artistic career which over time has become my profession, my passion and above all a vital necessity.
I have had solo and group exhibitions in several European cities and my works are in various private collections around the world. My work is deeply rooted in nature and human emotions; my star theme is water and fish, two visual universes that share symbolic intensity. The fascination with the fluidity and dynamism of water acts as the guiding thread of my creations and symbolizes constant transformation.
