Ernesto Loreto is a prominent figure in genre painting and blossoming seascapes in Italy during the height of the twentieth century.
The artist focused the vast majority of his production on coastal and maritime landscapes. His paintings frequently depict piers, quayside with moored boats, and fishermen engaged in their daily activities.
