Theological work in Latin by the Spanish Jesuit Francisco Suárez, printed in Mainz in 1620 by Balthasar Lippius for Hermann Mylius Birckmann. In the center of the front cover is the Christ monogram IHS with nails and the cross, a symbol of the Jesuits. Complete work, with no parts missing, spine worn (see among the high-resolution photos, number 4 in detail). Period ink erasure at the bottom part of the front cover and in the two following pages (see photos 6, 7, 8 and 9). Overall the book is usable in its entirety. In addition to the 446 numbered pages, there are 18 unnumbered pages of indices at the end of the work.
