DESCRIPTION:

This original work by Ralf Altrieth unfolds a universe where human figures, gazes, animals and signs seem to spring up spontaneously before merging again into the composition. Each element appears as an obvious fact, without an imposed narrative, leaving the viewer the freedom to project their own story onto it.

The gesture is direct, living, unpretentious. The broad flat areas dialog with direct lines, affirmed contours and a rich painterly material that give the whole an energy immediately perceptible.
