Luca Cartoonist, registered as Luca Angelini, born in 1986, is an emerging artist in the world of pop art.
Always passionate about comics (Disney foremost), he earned a diploma in advertising graphics at the Istituto d'arte di Ascoli Piceno, then completed his studies by earning a degree in comics and illustration from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
Drawing and painting will continue to be part of his life despite a different career path (though always artistic), until 2020, when, during the pandemic, he decided to fully immerse himself in the world of pop art.
He mainly represents characters from the cartoon/comics world, adapting them and placing them within contemporary situations, often using pop icons of yesterday and today.
He mainly uses acrylic colors, spray cans, and mixed-media techniques of printmaking and collage on canvas.
Since 2021 collaborations with several Italian art galleries, sees his works participate in events such as ArtParmafair, BAF, and some group exhibitions (MilanoFashion & Art, Espressioni d'artista….)
