Description from the seller
6 bottles of Château La FORTUNE 2015 in Margaux.
The Château la Fortune Margaux Red is a first-class red wine. It presents a magnificent deep purple and luminous robe. After swirling the glass, one perceives a perfect balance in this red wine, as it is neither watery, nor syrupy, nor liqueur on the glass walls. The first nose of Margaux Red is flattering with notes of prune muscat, blueberry. In addition to the fruity components of the bouquet, there are notes of aging in barrel, like even fruitier and balsamic nuances.
On the palate, the Margaux Red from Chateau la Fortune opens with a deliciously dry, punchy and aromatic wine. On the tongue, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly fleshy texture. In the finish, this youthful red wine from the Bordeaux wine region excites with its exceptional length. Again one finds notes of wild berry jam and plum puree.
Vinification of the Margaux Red from Chateau la Fortune
The balanced Margaux Red from France is a cuvée vinified from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The grapes of this French red wine are harvested exclusively by hand, at the moment of their optimal ripeness. After harvest, the grapes arrive at the press by the fastest route. They are selected there and gently crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and in small oak at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is finished, the Margaux Red is aged for a few more months in French oak barrels.
