The arching is medium and even. The scroll is cleanly carved with a symmetrical volute and a tidy pegbox.
Varnish
Red-brown varnish of good lustre and transparency, allowing the maple flame to read clearly through the colour on the back and ribs. The surface is lightly antiqued with shading toward the edges and shows only minor, even handling marks consistent with age.
F-holes, purfling & fittings
