Frank Elía presents a limited edition acrylic painting titled “Sobre el viento” (2026), a contemporary portrait created in Spain, signed by hand, 80 × 60 cm, 600 g, in excellent condition, shipped rolled in a tube with its certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
“Sobre el viento” is a work that reflects on what we cannot see, yet whose presence has the power to transform everything. The central figure emerges from a pictorial universe in constant motion, where matter, gesture, and color build an atmosphere of energy and transformation.
The expansive brushstrokes, especially in the upper area of the composition, evoke the presence of wind as an invisible force that moves, alters, and reorganizes. In the face of this dynamism, the portrait becomes a point of balance: its direct and serene gaze establishes a tension between permanence and change, between individual identity and the external forces that inevitably transform us.
The work is articulated through an intense chromatic dialogue. The blues, whites, and dark tones create a vibrant structure that contrasts with the warmth of the figure, developed through ochres, pinks, and golden nuances. The floral forms integrate with the portrait to blur the boundaries between the human figure, nature, and the space of the painting itself.
Beyond its aesthetic dimension, Sobre el viento speaks of transformation, movement, and permanence. Like the wind, there are experiences and changes we cannot always see, but that leave their mark and change the way we inhabit the world. The work thus proposes an image of identity not as something fixed, but as a presence in continual evolution.
