"Zenith" arises from a search around the clarity and serenity characteristic of the Mediterranean. This work from my series "Sea" explores the maritime landscape through abstraction, translating the coast atmosphere into a visual experience of balance and peace.

The composition unites a bright sky in pale blue tones with a sea of deep blues, accompanied by a subtle sand-toned stripe that adds structure, warmth, and visual depth. Through this play of tones and shapes, the piece seeks to convey a sense of calm, expansiveness, and contemplation, inviting the viewer to connect with the essential beauty of the marine environment.

About the artist:

My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have been developing an artistic practice focused on contemporary abstract painting, where color, matter, and collage are the pillars of my visual language.
My work arises from observation and dialogue with landscapes, the spaces we inhabit, and the traces they leave in our memory. Each series responds to a different investigation, but all share the aim of transforming experience into a visual language open to emotion and free interpretation.
Each work is unique and is completely handmade in my studio with professional high-quality materials. All my paintings are signed, dated, and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
