Description from the seller
Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works, one notes the great fascination that Italian art of the 20th century has been able to exert on him, with masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà, and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career, there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, including TV programs dedicated entirely to him. The Maestro Rolfi's work has been discussed by the most important journals and television and radio outlets. Among the most notable events is the grand exhibition Centoeventigiorni held in Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome, in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni, the exhibition at the museo Dopmiziano in Rome, the solo show at Mondadori in Milan, the exhibition at the Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria, and at BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi.
