Two Fish on the Table
This work is framed within a contemporary Cubist language, where the still life elements are constructed through geometric shapes, fragmented perspectives, and a marked simplification of volumes. The fish, the bottle, and the fruits are freely rearranged to create a composition with an intense visual rhythm.
Suspended above the table and surrounded by a deep blue field, the two fish become the symbolic center of the scene. Their presence connects the domestic space with the imagery of the sea, while the reds, greens, and ochres provide balance and vitality. Two Fish on the Table thus reinterprets the tradition of still life from a Cubist, Mediterranean, and contemporary viewpoint.
