Impressive large vintage covered tureen by Boch Frères, Belgium, decorated in the well-known Vieux Rhodes pattern.
The set features a rich polychrome decoration with stylised flowers, foliage and exotic birds in deep blue, terracotta red, green and cream tones. The elaborate ornamental borders and sculptural handles give the piece a particularly decorative appearance.
The underside bears the factory mark:
“Vieux Rhodes – Boch – Belgium – Handworked”
