Mountains Touch the Sky explores a landscape where color brings closer forms that seem to belong to different distances. The work reflects on that delicate space between closeness and distance, making visible that there are things that do not need to touch in order to feel deeply close. Blues, greens, yellows and earth tones follow one another like fragments of a changing geography, while the mountains rise toward the same sky.

Antonycs resides in Madrid. Trained in visual arts and art history, he has focused his career on photography and painting. His work is deeply inspired by Californian landscape painting and the American West, as well as European painting from the early twentieth century. These references are reflected in his attentive gaze at light and atmosphere, elements that articulate his work.
Parallelly, he has developed an intense role in the logistics and organization of exhibitions in galleries and museums in Spain, Brazil and Italy. His work has been part of numerous group and solo shows, consolidating an artistic practice that unites personal creation and curatorial experience.
