The Course of the River builds a landscape crossed by a stream whose origin lies beyond our sight and whose end we do not reach either. Between fields and mountains, the water adapts its course, quietly preserving its direction. The piece reflects on paths whose beginning and end remain uncertain. Sometimes it seems to drift away, but it never wholly abandons the direction it once took.

Antonycs resides in Madrid. Trained in visual arts and art history, he has focused his career on photography and painting. His work is deeply inspired by Californian landscape painting and the American West, as well as European painting from the early 20th century. These references are reflected in his attentive gaze to light and atmosphere, elements that structure his work.

Paralelly, he has developed an intensive role in the logistics and organization of exhibitions in galleries and museums in Spain, Brazil and Italy. His work has been part of numerous collective and solo shows, consolidating an artistic practice that joins personal creation and curatorial experience.
