The Mountain Pass builds a landscape of open fields and mountains crossed by a narrow path that seems to advance toward a pass between them. A place where the landscape seems to offer us a possibility, but showing us that every path at some point requires the decision to walk it. A work that speaks to us about those possibilities that remain intact for a long time, because what never begins, never ends. Two extremes and a point to cross that which seems very dangerous and which actually is not.

Antonycs resides in Madrid. Trained in visual arts and art history, he has focused his career on photography and painting. His work is deeply inspired by Californian landscape painting and the American West, as well as early 20th century European painting. These references are reflected in his attentive gaze to light and atmosphere, elements that articulate his work.
Parallely, he has developed an intense activity in the logistics and organization of exhibitions in galleries and museums in Spain, Brazil and Italy. His work has been part of numerous collective and solo exhibitions, consolidating an artistic practice that unites personal creation and curatorial experience.
