Helena Maguire (1860-1909) - Wild Ducks

Helena Jane Maguire (1860-1909) was a British visual artist; her paintings reflect Victorian England's love for cats. She painted both naturalistic and anthropomorphic scenes with cats and other animals, and her watercolors were exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Institute of Painters. In addition to paintings, her work was also used for greeting cards, postcards, trading cards, and collectible cards.
