πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallery owner, Exhibition curator, Music critic…)
A versatile visual artist and form-broker, presents ROBBIT: a series of vividly colored sculptures, mischievous homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, swayed by the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — particularly Rockit (1983), from which its name is derived. Created in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection comes in four silhouettes, each then hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
A poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends pop boldness with playful sweetness: a sculptural presence that strikes with chromatic optimism and a visual melody. These pieces, designed to cross gazes and complete contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before it disappears.
