According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais's valuation in 2021 ranges from about €600 to €2,000 for his paintings and multiple prints, making him a relatively affordable artist for art collectors.
A voracious and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism in the styles of Rauschenberg or De Kooning, to matter projections in the manner of Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage, or to the expressionism of Karel Appel, which walks the line between abstract gesture and figurative representation.
But his hallmark remains that physical painting, the material worked with the body, a testament to the artist's intimate monologue.
An artist represented at Galerie Les Couleurs de l'Éternité in France, Gallery Modern Dutch Art in the Netherlands.
Listed by Artprice, Drouot and Akoun since 2005. Atelier Maeght in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon.
