Description from the seller

Set of amber blown art glass carafes, Empoli-type, 1950s-1970s

Description
Beautiful five-piece collection of collectible art glass, brought together for their harmony of warm tones ranging from luminous cognac to deep amber and smoked glass.
This lot wonderfully illustrates mid-20th-century glassmaking know-how, style attributed to the Italian tradition known as Empoli and to artisanal bubble-blown glass work.

Detailed composition and dimensions of the lot:
1. Tall slender soliflore
o Dimensions: Height: 29 cm | Belly diameter: 12 cm.
o Description: Elongated, fluid silhouette with a bulbous base tapering to a long narrow neck. A very elegant piece that diffuses warm light thanks to its amber tint.
2. Flacon with original stopper
o Dimensions: Height: 24 cm | Width: 10 cm.
o Description: Dark amber glass, mass-colored with its original ground stopper.
Presence of discreet technical markings under the base (71151120) as well as a number engraved on the shoulder (34) and on the stopper (144), evidencing its authenticity.
3. Bulbous carafe in bubbled glass with handle
o Dimensions: Height: 21 cm | Belly diameter: 14 cm (16 cm with the handle).
o Description: Stout smoked glass carafe, characterized by a beautiful inclusion of regular air bubbles throughout the glass thickness. It features a pinched pouring spout and a contrasting massive handle.
4. Conical carafe with its solid art stopper
o Dimensions: Height: 17.5 cm (20.5 cm with stopper) | Width: 11 cm.
o Description: Very stable geometric shape with a flared base, enhanced by a superb carved art stopper in a cone. The bottle body also shows subtle work with trapped bubbles.
5. Miniature jug
o Dimensions: Height: 5.5 cm | Width: 6 cm (with handle).
o Description: Delightful perfectly proportioned miniature piece, equipped with a handle and a small spout. A charming display piece.

Condition:
Very good overall condition for the set. Some tiny air bubbles inherent to the artisanal manufacturing process and light signs of normal use (especially on parts in contact with the bases). No major chips. The stoppers fit perfectly to their respective flasks.
